Virgin Games launches redeveloped gambling sites

After more than a year of testing, Virgin Games released new and improved gaming sites

For the first time since the company released its gaming Web sites, Virgin Games has launched a redesigned version for all of its sites. The process took over a year -- the company first spent six months as it collected user input, trying to find out exactly what its customers were looking for in a gaming site, and then proceeded into usability testing for eight additional months.

In a press release, the company says that the new sites give customers a "more engaging, intuitive and user friendly experience."

The company promises that the online redesign is just one of many product enhancements Virgin Games has planned for the coming year. For now, players can enjoy the relaunched versions of Virgin Bingo, Virgin Casino and Virgin Poker.

Virgin Games' Chief Executive Officer Simon Burridge says that this is the latest of a number of company improvements. "In the last 18 months we have signed over 10 new content partnerships and launched more than 125 new games on our site," he explained, adding that "all these new content partnerships are integrated into our bespoke platform and are centered around a single customer account."

Redesigning the Web sites, according to Burridge, is a natural next step following such a tidal wave of additional content and changes. "As a Virgin company, it's essential that our philosophy follows our brand - to be a customer centric business," he said. "We had a soft launch of the website at the end of August and the feedback from our players has been overwhelmingly positive - proof that listening to the customer and putting them at the heart of what we do always pays off."
